ECAC Hockey to be Featured on Hockey Prospect Radio on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio


DANBURY, CONN. - ECAC Hockey is excited to announce a new featured segment on Hockey Prospect Radio on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio. Starting Saturday, September 14th, listeners can tune in weekly for exclusive interviews by host Shane Malloy with special guests from the world of ECAC Hockey for the 2024-25 season.  


Hockey Prospect Radio is in its 20th season on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio. Before they make the NHL, hockey prospects showcase their talents in junior and pro leagues across North America and Europe. Whether they are NHL Drafted, Drafted Eligible, or elite competitors, HPR tracks tomorrow’s stars today. ECAC Hockey will comprise a segment within the weekly two-hour hockey operations guide for hockey fans everywhere each Saturday. 


Radio host Shane Malloy has worked in the hockey industry as a columnist, author, scout, radio host, and analyst, forming deep roots, strong connections, and expertise in the sport. He has hosted the Hockey Prospect Radio Show on Sirius XM NHL Network Radio for the past 19 years and previously hosted the Business of Hockey as well.  Additionally, Malloy was a scout and data analyst for the EA Sports NHL Franchise for 18 years. Along with scouting for the United States Hockey League, he also authored a book “The Art of Scouting”.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for ECAC Hockey as it expands its presence and connects with fans in new and exciting ways. The show will highlight the talent within the conference from alumni, coaches, and players.
